Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV) has honoured NG Phaselis Bay with the prestigious "Best
Environmental Education and Awareness Activities of 2025"award.
Presented under the auspices of the International Blue Flag programme, this distinguished
accolade recognises institutions that inspire environmental awareness, champion sustainable living,
and seamlessly deliver forward-thinking environmental education programmes.
The selection process involved a rigorous evaluation by a distinguished jury comprising key
institutions, including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism; the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation
and Climate Change; Selçuk University Faculty of Tourism; Hacettepe University Department of
Environmental Engineering; Başkent University’s Centre for Sustainable Environment Application and
Research; and the Nature Conservation Centre. NG Phaselis Bay was proudly selected for the award
in recognition of the exceptional scope, quality, and inspiring nature of its environmental activities.
